A new study conducted in Finland has proved
that a nutritional supplement called Folligro™ can have a remarkable effect
on male pattern hair loss. In all of the cases examined not only did
Folligro™ stop hair loss occurring, but actually encouraged healthy and
strong hair re-growth.
Research: Causes: Most people studied also had a serious
problem with the absorption of adequate quantities of nutrients from the
food they eat. Stress was also found to contribute, if not
exacerbated, the problem. So called, male pattern baldness is also
caused by testosterone being converted to dehydrotesterone, which causes
an adverse reaction to the hair follicle this can cause the root to die in
the middle of its growth period. The more sophisticated formula which has been produced as a result of these findings, combines extracts of fenugreek with saw palmetto which is delivered via a unique bio-spray into the mouth where it is directed sub lingually for a more effective absorption. The bio-spray compression technology enables the molecular structure of the formula to be altered, which appears to allow faster assimilation. This is backed up by a concentrated daily dose delivered in capsule form. Double Effect: As a result of some intriguing initial findings
Annikki Hargross-Koski suggested a study of her own patients at the
Trichological Institute. In August 1998, she selected men who had been
losing hair on specific sites, mainly around the crown and at the temples
and made a complete examination of their scalps using a Leica-microscope.
She also photographed their heads at the start of the trials and at their
conclusion in February 1999. After six months, the experimental trial revealed that all the subjects had started to experience good hair growth. Two of the men, who had bald patches at the top of their heads re-grew all their hair, covering the bald spots completely (which can be seen by comparing the before and after photographs of the trial). Meanwhile, a third man, the most hairless of all the subjects, Jan Anderson aged 50, has started to experience hair re-growth despite offering the most challenging case for Annikki Hagross-Koski. |
The most successful of
all, a 42 year old photographer called Kari Hautala, was According to UK trichologist Dr. Richard Rodgers, "I have studied the results produced by the Helsinki Trichological Institute, and these, coupled with my own findings in the UK, have led me to believe that the discovery of Folligro™ is likely to have a significant impact on trichological treatments in the future |
